Parex LA Repair Concrete

Parex LA Repair Concrete is a cement-based, pre-bagged micro-concrete. It is made for repairs too deep, too congested or too hard to reach for a hand-applied mortar. Once mixed with water, it becomes a flowing concrete that can be poured under gravity or pumped into formwork. It moves around tightly packed reinforcement and fills voids without vibration.

It meets the requirements of Class R4 of EN 1504-3, the highest structural repair classification. It is specified widely on highway structures and is particularly suited to motorway bridge work, including soffits to bridge beams and crossheads. Its low resistivity allows it to be used alongside cathodic protection systems. Its very low chloride content means it is safe in direct contact with steel reinforcement.

The aggregates are not susceptible to Alkali-Silica Reaction. The mortar also develops a high tensile bond to the prepared substrate, so no bonding primer is needed. Beyond repair, it can be used to form new concrete elements such as beams, columns and underpinning, and for grouting under baseplates.
