RIW Hydrocoat

RIW Hydrocoat is a cold-applied, fast-drying two-coat black bitumen waterproof coating designed primarily for demanding civil and infrastructure waterproofing applications. It dries to form a durable water and water vapour barrier on concrete, masonry and steel substrates, and is rapidly resistant to rain after application — making it practical in exposed site conditions where weather cannot always be managed.

Unlike some bitumen coatings, Hydrocoat requires no stirring prior to use, simplifying application on large-scale projects. Minor damage to the cured membrane is self-healing, reducing maintenance requirements over the life of the structure. It is applied by brush, roller or spray at a coverage rate of 6m² per litre per coat, across two coats.
