Sika Forever

Sika Forever is a high-performance silicone sealant formulated with Mould Shield technology for superior durability in high-humidity environments. Permanently waterproof and highly flexible, it provides long-lasting resistance to mould, mildew and bacterial growth, and has been proven to resist mould growth and discolouration for 10 years of simulated ageing. Suitable for sealing showers, baths, wet rooms, sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, kitchens, and window and door frames in condensation-prone areas. With a service temperature range of -40°C to +180°C and 25% movement capability, it is certified under EN 15651 for façade, cold climate and sanitary applications. Available in White, Clear, Ivory and Grey in 295ml cartridges.

Good to know

• Skin time approximately 15 to 20 minutes at 23°C and 50% RH
• Cures approximately 2 to 3mm in 24 hours at 23°C and 50% RH
• Allow to cure for 24 hours before using bath or shower
• Always tool sealant down within 15 minutes of applying to ensure a proper bond
• When applying to plastic or acrylic baths, fill bath halfway with water whilst sealing and during cure
• Fill deep gaps and voids with expanding foam before applying sealant
• Cannot be painted over, choose a paintable acrylic sealant if required
• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease before application
• Shelf life 24 months from date of manufacture
• Store in cool dry conditions and protect from frost
