SikaProof A+ 12 is the heavy-duty 1.2mm version of Sika's A+ membrane system, providing a total system thickness of 1.75mm. It is designed for below-ground waterproofing where higher physical resistance is required — such as beneath heavily loaded raft foundations or in areas with aggressive ground conditions.

Like the A+ 08 grade, the membrane forms a full and permanent dual bond with the structural concrete, preventing lateral water migration between the membrane and the structure. It can be applied pre-cast (laid before reinforcement and concrete) or post-cast to existing concrete surfaces.

The product is suitable for use as a methane, carbon dioxide, and radon resistant membrane when installed in accordance with BS 8485:2015+A1:2019. It is CE marked to EN 13967 and holds a BBA Agrément Certificate, making it suitable for specification on projects requiring third-party certified waterproofing.
