SikaProof P-12 Waterproofing Membrane

SikaProof P-12 is a 1.2mm thick flexible polyolefin (FPO) waterproofing membrane for below-ground applications including basements, tunnels, and underground car parks. Unlike the A+ range, SikaProof P-12 is a looser-laid or mechanically fastened sheet rather than a fully bonded system.

The membrane is CE marked to EN 13967 and provides reliable long-term waterproofing protection as a Type A barrier in accordance with BS 8102:2009. It is suitable for use against positive water pressure on new-build below-ground structures.

Good to know

• Concrete substrate must be sound with a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm² and minimum tensile strength of 1.5 N/mm²
• Substrate must be even level clean and dry
• Substrate temperature must be 3°C above dew point to avoid condensation
• SikaProof primer must be used.
• P-12 is not permanently UV & weather resistant.
