SikaProof Primer-01

SikaProof Primer-01 is a solvent-based synthetic rubber primer used to prepare concrete and masonry substrates before applying SikaProof P-12 peel-and-stick post-applied membranes. It penetrates and consolidates the substrate surface, improving adhesion and sealing minor surface porosity.

The primer is touch-dry within 20–30 minutes at +20°C, after which the membrane can be applied. It is also compatible with SikaBit S-515 bituminous sheet systems where specified. SikaProof Primer-01 must be applied to all concrete and masonry surfaces before SikaProof P-12 installation, skipping the primer step will compromise the bond and the waterproofing integrity of the system.
