Visqueen Class B FR Vapour Check

Visqueen Class B FR Vapour Check is a modified flame retardant polyethylene air and vapour control layer (AVCL), orange tinted and semi transparent, with a 0.125mm (500 gauge) thickness. Used in floor, wall and roof constructions, it provides air tightness and resistance to water vapour, helping to reduce the risk of condensation within the build up.

Its Class B-s1,d0 reaction to fire classification surpasses national Building Regulation requirements for air and vapour control layers, making it suitable for all building heights, including residential buildings over 18m. The membrane is UKCA, UKNI and CE marked to EN 13984:2013, and has been third party tested to EN 13501-1:2018 as a complete AVCL system, including its sealing tapes. The 2.45m wide roll is well suited to wall applications, allowing rapid installation while reducing the need for horizontal lap joints.
