Visqueen NF Vapour Barrier | Air & Vapour Control Layer

Visqueen NF Vapour Barrier is a high-performance air and vapour control layer built from a co-extruded, multi-layer thermoplastic construction at 0.4mm (400 micron) thick. Positioned on the warm side of the insulation, it resists the passage of moisture-laden air into the building fabric, helping to control interstitial condensation and protect both the structure and the insulation. The membrane is transparent with a blue tint and is suitable for use across floor, wall and roof constructions. It carries UKCA, UKNI and CE marking to EN 13984:2013 in support of Building Regulation and warranty provider requirements, and is rated for all humidity classes under BS 5250:2021.

• Each single wound roll covers 104.4m² (2.4m wide x 43.5m long).
• A vapour barrier or AVCL offers high vapour resistance and is close to impermeable, differing from a vapour check, which slows rather than stops the passage of vapour.
