Visqueen Self Adhesive Fully Bonded Vapour Barrier

Visqueen Self Adhesive Fully Bonded Vapour Barrier is Visqueen's highest performing air and vapour control layer (AVCL). It is built for buildings with high internal humidity, such as swimming pools, laundries and similar high moisture environments. It is suitable for all humidity classes under BS 5250:2021.

The membrane is a foil lined, modified bitumen rubber sheet with a silver upper surface. A self adhesive coating on the underside is protected by a removable release film. It bonds fully to the substrate, and laps seal to themselves, so no jointing tapes are needed. The adhesive also self seals around mechanical fixings, which helps keep the control layer continuous. It is used in floor, wall and roof constructions, including flat warm roofs. It is UKCA, UKNI and CE marked to EN 13984:2013.

• Visqueen HP Tanking Primer (5L) is a required system component, sold separately
• Reaction to fire Class F, so not suitable where a fire-rated AVCL is specified
