Visqueen Vapour Check

Visqueen Vapour Check is an air and vapour control layer (AVCL) for buildings with a low risk of condensation. It stops warm, moist air inside the building from moving into the floor, wall or roof structure. This helps protect insulation and the building fabric from interstitial condensation, and it also improves overall airtightness.

The membrane is made from green tinted, semi-transparent polyethylene. Studs and framing stay visible through the sheet, so boarding out is quicker. It comes in large format multi folded rolls in 2.45m and 4m widths. The 2.45m roll suits wall heights, and the 4m roll covers ceilings and floors in fewer runs. It carries UKCA, UKNI and CE marking to EN 13984:2013 and is part of Visqueen's tested vapour control system with matching tapes.
