Visqueen Zedex High Bond DPC Cavity Tray

Visqueen Zedex High Bond DPC Cavity Tray is designed for masonry applications in residential and commercial buildings up to and including three storeys. Its sand surfaced, modified bituminous construction delivers superior mortar adhesion compared to standard polyethylene or thermoplastic DPCs, making it the ideal choice where low imposed loads occur but a high mortar bond is critical — such as parapet walls and beneath masonry copings or cappings, where poor mortar adhesion could lead to masonry slippage.

The ability to heat bond the product on site makes it particularly well suited for forming complex or awkward cavity tray details such as those around steel columns, wind posts and parapet posts. In accordance with NHBC Technical Guidance 6.1/05, it is also suitable for cavity trays to openings with soldier courses or stone lintels.
