Wykamol CM20 Cavity Drain

Wykamol CM20 is a high-capacity studded cavity drain membrane for waterproofing walls, floors, vaults and tunnels, with minimal surface preparation required. It is BBA-approved as suitable for Type C cavity drain membrane systems in accordance with BS8102, the British Standard for protecting structures below ground. Rather than holding water back under pressure, the membrane creates an air gap that captures any water passing through the structure and channels it away to a drainage system, creating a dry, habitable space in areas previously affected by damp or standing water.

The studded profile provides a high water void volume of 14 litres/m², and the membrane is waterproof, salt inhibiting, and resistant to roots and contaminants. It is also suitable for external foundation waterproofing and for internal above-ground use to form an insulated dry lining where conventional plaster finishes are not appropriate. Hard-wearing and tolerant of both low and high temperatures, it is rated for the lifetime of the structure and also performs well as a radon barrier.
