Wykamol CM8 Cavity Drain

Wykamol CM8 is a Type C cavity drain membrane system for below-ground structures. The 8mm studded HDPE profile holds the membrane away from the substrate, creating a drainage cavity that channels groundwater to perimeter drainage and a sump pump, controlling water ingress rather than resisting it. The clear membrane makes it straightforward to locate and fix CM Brick Plugs during installation.

The membrane requires minimal surface preparation and can be applied to walls, floors and ceilings. Because no drying-out period is needed, internal finishes and dry lining can be installed immediately after the membrane is in place. Perimeter drainage channels should be installed at the base of walls to optimise water flow towards the sump location.
